We had a great time and we really enjoyed swept away! The flights went smoothly including the changing of airplanes. They did not have us down as honeymooners, but it was no problem mon. We had a copy of our license and were able to get the massage and champagne. The food was great, the atmosphere was laid back, the weather was great, and overall we had a great trip. The service you provided was excellent and made it much less stressful than it would have been had we been planning it. This allowed us to enjoy our time together and not have to worry about anything.  Everything was just as you said, and the trip went very well. Thanks for your help, and I am sure I will call you for future trips. When I get our pictures uploaded I will send you some. Thanks again...

Each hotel was special in its own way, but I would definitely stay at any/all of them again. Hotel Cluny Square in Paris had tiny rooms, but the location was unbeatable, breakfast excellent, staff friendly and helpful, etc. Valmourianne in St. Remy was your recommendation and it was great. The staff couldn't have been friendlier. The food was great. It was like staying in someone's home without feeling like you were obligated to do anything. By the way, I didn't learn this until checkout, but they upgraded us to a bigger room--and the only one with an upstairs terrace--at no extra charge. Hotel Pigonnet in Aix was luxurious with another great restaurant. Very international clientele and beautiful gardens. Again, the staff couldn't have been nicer. Finally, the Meridien in Nice is another superb location. The hotel seems to have been remodelled recently (and still is undergoing some work) and the room are very modern, reminding me a little of the W Hotels. They also upgraded me from the garden view I'd booked to an ocean view--without my even asking.) In short, I couldn't have been more please with our hotels (or restaurants). The only problem was that we had to leave and return home. As you can probably tell, I'm still flying high and could write a book, but work beckons. Thanks, again.

Mayan Riviera Honeymoon.

Absolutely amazing. The Tides is the best place I could imagine when it comes to the staff and the service. Food was awesome. Accommodations were great too. Could not have asked for more. Wasn't as expensive as I thought it would be for food and drink but still pretty pricey. We spent around $300 a day at the resort. Around $200 at dinner and $100 or so on lunch and drinks during the day. It could definitely cost much more if people expect to drink heavily during the day or order multiple bottles of wine at dinner, etc. but it is not that kind of place. Very secluded and intimate and private. Not much interaction at all between the guests for what its worth, which was good with us anyway. The tides offers transportation back and forth to Playa whenever for about $20 round trip which was much better than a cab, etc. Their vehicles were two Mercedes and two land rovers. Pretty swanky for that area to say the least. Thanks for all your help.  Barron Lakeman

Jack,
WOW, how awesome is Jamaica.  We had a great time and everything was fantastic.  Thank you so much for suggesting Whitehouse.  It was everything you said it was going to be and more.  Arrangements for hotel at the Tutwiler were smooth.  Plane tickets and everything at the resort was perfect.  No problems at all.  We left already planning our next trip, hopefully with another couple next time and you will be the first to call.  Be looking for a package in the mail from Patrese and I, just a little "Thank You" gift from us.
Again, thank you so much for your help in planning this for us.  We enjoyed every minute of it and did not want to come home.  Trust me you will be the first person to call on vacations from here on out and highly recommended by Patrese and I to any of our friends!!
Thanks,
Marshall Bee

We just got back from the Dominican Republic a couple weeks ago and our honeymoon was wonderful! Candy really helped us since we were on a budget and just gave us our options for the price we were able to spend--she was always there for questions and quick to respond. Catalonia Bavaro is a wonderful resort if you're looking to go to the Dominican Republic, is all-inclusive with lots of activities during the day and absolutely fabulous shows at night!! There are not a lot of Americans, so brush up on your Spanish and meet people from around the world--ALSO, snorkeling here isn't as pretty as in Mexico but swimming with the sharks and stingrays was awesome (stingrays had stingers removed for safety!) and be sure to check out lunch or dinner at Capitan Cooks!! THANKS SO MUCH CANDY--GREAT HONEYMOON AND TRIP!!

Our honeymoon was perfect!! (Thanks to the help of Candy) She was always on top of everything and always kept me updated regarding any changes. There is normally so much going on around the time of your wedding, and it is so nice to not worry about planning your honeymoon on top of everything else. I told Candy a brief description of what we were looking for and in no time she set us up with an all inclusive package at the Sandals (Grande) in St. Lucia (which i would recommend to everyone..it was wonderful). Thanks again Candy, and I am looking forward to planning my next vacation with you!

My bride-to-be and I weren't exactly sure what we were looking for in a honeymoon destination. After describing our likes and dislikes to Debbie and Candy, they recommended Couples Swept Away in Negril, Jamaica. It couldn't have been more perfect. They were able to recommend the destination we knew we wanted, but we unable to articulate. Of course the logistics worked out great at a really good price. I would recommend using Travel Planners to anyone and plan to use them the next time I plan a trip.

I was looking for a good travel agent and I had two people tell me to call Candy. She's booked three trips for us thus far and has bent over backwards to find great recommendations and the best deals possible.

Candy has found great deals for Sandals Whitehouse and Sandals Halcyon St. Lucia as well as the perfect hotel for a quick getaway to San Francisco, all on fairly short notice. I'm sure she has clients that spend a ton more money that we do yet she treats us like #1 every single time, much better than any agent I could find locally (Tuscaloosa).

Candy and the team at Travel Planners will go above and beyond for your trip... book with them, your only disappointment will be that you didn't call them sooner!

I just now had the time to email you regarding our wedding and honeymoon in St. Lucia at Sandals. We really enjoyed ourselves and couldn't have picked a better place. I have some helpful advice for future travelers. I personally prefer the Regency Resort over all the other ones. The Regency has more restaurants and better restaurants compared to the other two. It has the live entertainment and a great atmosphere at night. The entertainment at the Regency was so exciting and we had a blast watching the performances.Everyone from the other resorts came to ours for the night time entertainment.I definitely think if you are a younger couple this is the one to stay at.For your older couples that like lounging on the beach and are not into night life send them to the Halcyon. It is more low key and romantic. The Grande St. Lucia is nice for the additonal water sports, but still does not have the energy of the Regency. It is however a nice place. The Grande has the best beach restaurant. It is as good as the Arizona at the Regency.I was extremely impressed with all the restaurants there. The staff at every resort was helpful and friendly.Majority of the weddings took place at the Regency. Zena the bridal coordinator was very helpful with everything. If they tell you can't do something sometimes you just have to tell them. The only thing that I do not recommend for the bride is to have her makeup done there. They did not do a good job at all and it can be a waste of money. It was not a problem though my mother and I went upstairs and fixed it.They do a really good job on your hair for the wedding.
I loved the fact the you called ahead and made appointments for hair and make up and spa.The most important thing is to book and schedule everything the moment you arrive. We did this and it made it a lot easier.Book your restaurants first and them confirm or schedule your hair, spa and so forth.

The best thing about our trip was the sun set boat cruise we chartered for after the wedding.I would highly recommend it. The food was delicious and the crew was amazing.Definitely do the sunset cruise! It was a wonderful way to celebrate the joyous occasion.

Overall, I think this was a perfect way to get married and honeymoon and I wouldn't trade it for anything. St. Lucia is a beautiful place to go and there are tons of things to do there. I couldn't have asked for a better travel agent- Candy.I will highly recommend you.

We just returned from Excellence Riviera Cancun. What a beautiful resort! Our room was a large, multi-level suite with a jacuzzi tub for 2 seperating the bathroom from the living room. We had a large 4 poster bed, a sitting area with a couch and desk and a large balcony overlooking the pool. There were great choices of restaurants from French to a Lobster House to a Steak house to an Italian restaurant. The spa is large and romantic. Long wide stretch of white sand beaches make this the perfect getaway!
