We begin this exploration voyage in beautiful Québec City, known as the soul of the province.

Frontier Beauty

Heading up the scenic Saguenay River on board MS Fram, we will explore the surrounding wilderness and the city of Saguenay, then on to our next port of call, Baie-Comeau. This frontier town is a hub for timber and other natural resources, as well as the impressive hydroelectric dam at the Manicougan Reservoir.

As we make our way to Bonaventure Island to savour the spectacle of one of the largest gannet colonies in the world.

Taste of France

Îles de la Madeleine is our next destination, to explore Cap-aux-Meules. Chéticamp (Cape Breton National Park), is a great stop for hiking, strolling or taking to the water in a spectacular setting that offers plenty for everyone.

We then head to Louisbourg, home to an amazing Fortress, completed by the French in 1740.

Old and New

Next, we call at vibrant Halifax, a city that manages to blend old and new, with fantastic outdoor activities and a rich cultural life on offer.

Our final stop is Yarmouth – a seaside gem with wonderful coastal scenery and enchanting history, before ending the voyage in New York City, where you can stroll through Central Park, marvel at the architecture of the Empire State building, or take advantage of the endless opportunities of the City That Never Sleeps.
