Our agents are trained to help you find the vacation that is a perfect fit for you. We work with the most reputable and reliable wholesalers, resorts, tour companies, and cruise lines. You won’'t have to worry about the stability or safety of any destination or resort that we recommend. Our agents have personally experienced most of the destinations that interest you. They can give you “first hand” tips on what to see and do, resorts from budget to deluxe, even recommendations on room locations. We have also developed relationships with many resort managers who we email and advise that our very important clients are on their way. You are then given special attention and often receive room upgrades or special welcome gifts in your room. Our focus is YOU! Debbie Perkins - European Specialist

Jack Perkins - Honeymoons & Romantic Get Aways

Debbie has 30 years experience in the travel business, 19 years as owner of Travel Planners, Inc. She is a Certified Travel Consultant and specializes in custom designed tours to Europe, incentive travel, group travel, and family travel. Debbie says, "Vacation is a time of relaxation, rejuvenation, and time to get away from the busyness of our lives. I call this travel therapy and I am your travel therapist." Every vacation I take is my favorite just because its a vacation! And I love vacations! One that stands out is a sailing trip around the Greek Islands. We chartered 3 sailboats and traveled with 20 of our friends and family for 10 days. Another exciting vacation was to Belize where we stayed 3 nights on Ambergris Cay and then 3 nights in a thatched roof cottage in the jungle on the border of Belize and Guatemala. I decided to go into the travel inddustry because I thought I was too young to have a real job when I graduated from college and I wanted to see the world for greatly reduced prices. I couldnt be a flight attendant because, at the time, you had to be able to see the distance of the plane without visual aid and I wore contact lenses. So, the next best thing was to be a travel agent. 30 years later I am still selling vacations and traveling the world. Maybe someday I'll grow up and get a real job! >>Email Debbie
Jack has 12 years of experience in the travel industry. He is a Certified Gold Sandals Specialist, Couples Resorts Specialist, Hawaii Specialist, Disney Specialist, and a Karisma Resorts Gourmet Inclusive Vacation Consultant. He specializes in Caribbean, Riviera Maya, Hawaii travel, and honeymoon planning.Favorite travel experiences: Sailing the Saronic Gulf (Greece). Tubing the irrigation system of an old sugar plantation on Kauai. Having a drink with the late Dennis Hopper at the Carlton Hotel in Cannes, France. Hiking the Pitons of St. Lucia. Candace Coggin - Disney Expert & Family Travel Specilalist

Candy has been with Travel Planners for 14 years. Although this was a second career for her, Candy says, "It doesn’t seem like a job- how can it be a job when I get to travel to such wonderful places and have fun helping people realize their own dreams to see the world?" Although she has expertise in many areas of travel Caribbean, Mexico, Hawaii, Alaska, Europe and Disney to name a few, her main specialty is Honeymoons and destination weddings.The internet is a great research tool but its information overload. So helping a couple find THEIR perfect place to start their new life together is a challenge that she loves! She has never met an island I didn’t like, and there are lots to explore. Candy believes it's exciting to introduce people to some of her favorite places. She has also been to some places in Europe that aren'’t the typical European destinations. She can tell you about Scotland, Scandinavia, Prague, Budapest or Vienna. Candy says, "I know firsthand how important a trip is for your wellbeing… you relax and get away from it all, experience other cultures, make memories. Candace is a Birmingham native. She graduated from the University of Alabama. She decided to pursue a career in the travel industry after many trips to Walt Disney World with her family and helping friends and family plan their vacations. She is a graduate of the Disney College of Knowledge, a Certified Sea World Specialist and a Family Travel Specialist. She prides herself on her knowledge of Disney destinations and enjoys helping families make the most of their vacations. She has firsthand knowledge of the Disney resorts and parks and Disney Cruise line. She offers customized itinerary planning, dining suggestions and assistance with reservations, park strategies and special event reservations. Her planning services are completely free and never include any hidden service fees. Candace joined Travel Planners in 2011 to expand her knowledge of the travel industry. Michele graduated from Ole Miss and moved to Birmingham 2 years ago from Dallas, Texas. She decided to pursue a career in the travel industry based on her love of travel and the opportunity to help plan not just a trip but an unforgettable experience for her clients. She is passionate about the creative design that goes into planning trips such as researching special activities and tours to help her clients fully enjoy their surroundings. Michele is a mother of 4 children and has traveled extensively with her family. Some of her favorite places are California, Colorado, New York City and Florida. A favorite travel experience of her own is when she and her husband took a trip to Europe and enjoyed biking around Amsterdam and sitting at Centre Court watching the finals of Wimbledon. Now Booking for Disney's NEW Royal Guest Rooms and Art of Animation Resort!

Opening in early Spring 2012, the Royal Guest Rooms at Disneys Port Orleans Resort Riverside allow princes and princesses of all ages to stay where Disney royalty have stayed.

Guests find regal touches left behind by some of their favorite Disney characters like fiber optics special effects above ornately decorated beds with gold and crystal accents; custom linens and drapes; and in-room art and details including princely banners and princess friends. The 512 Royal Guest Rooms start at $189 per night.

Walt Disney World guests also can now book rooms at Disneys Art of Animation Resort, a brand new Walt Disney World Value Resort opening in May 2012. Disneys Art of Animation Resort will immerse guests into their favorite Disney stories including Disney•Pixars Finding Nemo and Cars, as well as Walt Disney Pictures The Lion King and The Little Mermaid.

The one-of-a-kind resort will feature more than 800 standard guest rooms and more than 1,100 family suites (which sleep up to six people) at its completion. Standard rooms at Disneys Art of Animation Resort start at $94 per night and family suites start at $248 per night.
